Introducing the Band

Kilbarchan Pipe Band is a family centred band in the picturesque Renfrewshire village of Kilbarchan. The band aims to create a sociable environment in which to encourage interest in traditional music and in the playing of pipes and drums. To provide the best support and tuition possible for those willing to improve their skills and musicianship and to raise money with a view to providing equipment as necessary.
Kilbarchan Pipe Band has a growing reputation in the local area and plans are afoot to compete at 4B in the spring. Watch this space!

The ceilidh on 7th November was a great success. Clamjamfrie were their usual brilliant selves, surpassed only by the buffet.

The AGM was held in the scout hut after practice on 13-11-08, the names of all office holders and committee members will be posted soon. Thanks to all who attended.
